For the 2020 American Music Awards, we brought Lil Baby’s performance to life through thoughtful art direction centered on the theme of mental health within the community. The concept was designed to inspire hope and resilience, weaving together scenic design, dynamic video content, and expressive choreography. Every element—from the subtle nuances of costume design to the interplay of light and shadow on stage—was crafted to support the narrative. The result was a visually compelling and emotionally resonant performance that not only entertained but also fostered a meaningful dialogue about mental health.
